Hà Nội Sunset
This sunset-hued riff on the classic Tuxedo No. 2 cocktail is made with Sông Cái Dry Gin, the first-ever Vietnamese gin whose vibrant Southeast Asian botanicals include hand-foraged green turmeric, jungle-pepper, heirloom pomelo, and white licorice root.
Nodding to her own Vietnamese heritage, New York bartender Lucinda Sterling has created a delicate cocktail that complements those botanicals with accents of rose, hibiscus. It's stirred and served in a coupe with a fragrant, golden crown of turmeric-infused absinthe. Read the full Spirit of Việt Nam interview with Lucinda here.
