Lychee Garden
This distinctly Vietnamese cocktail is made with Sông Cái Floral Gin, a floral bouquet of a gin that captures the essence of the Vietnam’s lush highland region. Prepared by the team at Madame Vo, the critically-acclaimed Vietnamese restaurant, the cocktail is a traditional sour revised with Southeast Asian ingredients like lychee, basil, and Vietnamese gin. Ingredients
2 oz Sông Cái gin
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz of lychee syrup
1 egg white
3 medium-sized basil leaves
Method
Combine gin, lemon juice, lychee syrup, and egg white in a cocktail shaker tin.
Add ice, close securely, and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds or until the tin frosts over.
Strain and serve in a coupe glass.
Garnish
A toothpick skewer of fresh lychee and basil leaves.
